Kacher noted that Slovakia attaches great importance to the presence of allied troops on the eastern flank of the alliance, including on Slovak territory.
“We want NATO leaders to decide on a permanent presence of troops in every country on the eastern flank and on expanding this presence from a battalion to a brigade ,” he said.
At the same time, Kačer acknowledged that the increase in the NATO military contingent in Slovakia will require new commitments from the country to expand the possibilities for deploying allied troops.
