Bolivian Foreign Minister Attends MERCUSOR Meeting in Argentina

Ahead of the 62nd Summit of Heads of State and Associated States, to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, the forum of foreign ministers will take up the accession of Bolivia as a full member of this multilateral organization, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The plenary session of Heads of State of this integrationist structure, associates and guests, which will be chaired by the Argentinean President Alberto Fernandez, is scheduled for this Tuesday.

This will be the first time that MERCOSUR leaders will meet in a summit since 2019, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out.

During the two meeting days, the work carried out during the pro tempore presidency of Argentina in the first half of 2023 will be analyzed. Among these actions, the 10th edition of the MERCOSUR Business Forum will be highlighted.
